(26) Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter God commands Moses to speak the Ten Commandments to the Israelites, who are gathered at the edge of the wilderness. The commandments cover moral duties, worship, and the sanctity of time, establishing the foundation of Israel's covenant with God.
