The Scripture
(9) And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites are commanded to kill their firstborn sons, but many mothers hide their infants in the desert. As a result, the children survive and multiply in the wilderness. This shows God's care for His people even when they act against Him.
