Daniel 11:13
The Scripture
(13) For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Daniel 11 is a detailed prophecy tracing the rise and conflicts of Persian and Grecian kings, followed by generations of war between the king of the south and the king of the north. It describes a deceitful ruler who seizes power through flattery and defiles the sanctuary. The chapter ends at the time of the end with a self-exalting king who meets his downfall with no one to help him.
