(4) But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?

Jehu had the seventy sons of Ahab beheaded and their heads brought to Jezreel in baskets, then killed all of Ahab's remaining supporters and relatives to fulfill the LORD's word against Ahab's house. Jehu also deceitfully gathered the worshippers of Baal into their temple and had them all slaughtered, destroying Baal worship out of Israel.
