(10) And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

Solomon made a bronze altar, a great molten sea resting on twelve oxen, ten lavers, ten golden candlesticks, and ten tables for the temple, along with countless vessels of bronze and gold. Huram cast these bronze furnishings in the plain of Jordan, and Solomon placed all the finished articles into the house of God.
