II Chronicles 36:22
The Scripture
(22) Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

The book concludes with the successive reigns and downfalls of Judah's last kings, Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah, culminating in Nebuchadnezzar's destruction of Jerusalem and the temple and the captivity of the people to Babylon. The chapter ends with Cyrus king of Persia proclaiming that the LORD had charged him to build a house for Him at Jerusalem, allowing the exiles to return.
