The Scripture
(12) And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.

Josiah kept a great Passover in Jerusalem unlike any since the days of Samuel, organizing the priests and Levites and providing abundant animals for the sacrifices. Josiah later went to battle against Pharaoh Necho at Megiddo against the pharaoh's warning and was fatally wounded, dying to the great mourning of all Judah and Jerusalem.
