II Chronicles 32:33
The Scripture
(33) And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

After the death of Joash the people appointed Uzziah as king and he ruled for many years. Yet Joash lived in sin and his reign was marked by the nation's spiritual decline. The chapter records his death and the beginning of a new era for the kingdom.
