II Chronicles 32:22
The Scripture
(22) Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.

After the death of Joash the people appointed Uzziah as king and he ruled for many years. Yet Joash lived in sin and his reign was marked by the nation's spiritual decline. The chapter records his death and the beginning of a new era for the kingdom.
