The Scripture
(4) And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

Solomon began building the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, overlaying the porch, walls, and most holy place with pure gold and adorning it with precious stones. He also made two large cherubim of gold to stand in the most holy place, their wings stretching across the width of the room.
