The Scripture
(17) And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

Solomon began building the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, overlaying the porch, walls, and most holy place with pure gold and adorning it with precious stones. He also made two large cherubim of gold to stand in the most holy place, their wings stretching across the width of the room.
