(18) Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)

Second Chronicles 23 records how in the seventh year the high priest Jehoiada strengthens himself, gathers Levites and family heads from all Judah, and makes a covenant with them in the house of the Lord to bring out the king's son. He organizes priests and Levites with weapons to surround the young Joash, crowns him, gives him the testimony, and proclaims him king, while Athaliah cries treason and is put to death outside the house of the Lord. Jehoiada then renews the covenant between the Lord, the king, and the people, destroys the house of Baal and its priest, stations guards at the temple, and brings the king to the throne amid the people's rejoicing, so the city rests in quiet.
