II Chronicles 21:9
The Scripture
(9) Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoram became king of Judah and killed all his brothers, walking in the wicked ways of the house of Ahab because he had married Ahab's daughter, and as a result Edom and Libnah revolted against Judah. Elijah sent Jehoram a letter of judgment, and the LORD afflicted him with invasions and a painful, incurable bowel disease that eventually killed him, and he died unlamented.
