II Chronicles 18:7
The Scripture
(7) And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoshaphat allied with Ahab and agreed to join him in battle against Ramoth-gilead, but the prophet Micaiah alone warned that Ahab would be deceived by a lying spirit and would fall in battle, unlike the four hundred false prophets who promised victory. Ahab disguised himself for the battle but was struck by a random arrow and died, fulfilling Micaiah's prophecy.
