II Chronicles 18:3
The Scripture
(3) And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoshaphat allied with Ahab and agreed to join him in battle against Ramoth-gilead, but the prophet Micaiah alone warned that Ahab would be deceived by a lying spirit and would fall in battle, unlike the four hundred false prophets who promised victory. Ahab disguised himself for the battle but was struck by a random arrow and died, fulfilling Micaiah's prophecy.
