II Chronicles 18:29
The Scripture
(29) And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoshaphat allied with Ahab and agreed to join him in battle against Ramoth-gilead, but the prophet Micaiah alone warned that Ahab would be deceived by a lying spirit and would fall in battle, unlike the four hundred false prophets who promised victory. Ahab disguised himself for the battle but was struck by a random arrow and died, fulfilling Micaiah's prophecy.
