I Kings 15:7
The Scripture
(7) Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Abijam reigned briefly and wickedly over Judah, but his son Asa did right in the eyes of the LORD, removing idols and sodomites from the land and even deposing his grandmother Maachah for her idol worship. Asa allied with Syria's Ben-hadad against Baasha of Israel, while the chapter also records the violent, idolatrous reign of Nadab and Baasha in the north.
