I Kings 15:19

(19) There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Abijam reigned briefly and wickedly over Judah, but his son Asa did right in the eyes of the LORD, removing idols and sodomites from the land and even deposing his grandmother Maachah for her idol worship. Asa allied with Syria's Ben-hadad against Baasha of Israel, while the chapter also records the violent, idolatrous reign of Nadab and Baasha in the north.
