The Scripture
(32) And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

In this chapter the Israelites begin building the temple for God under the leadership of Solomon, David’s son. The people give their offerings and the priests are appointed to serve in the new house. The narrative ends with a description of the completed temple and the joy of the assembly.
