The Scripture
(20) Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter John receives a vision of seven churches and is warned that the false teachers will cause division and false doctrine. He is specifically called to the church of Ephesus, urging it to repent and be cleansed. The chapter ends with a promise that God will vindicate the true believers.
