Numbers 5:15
The Scripture
(15) Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Numbers 5 commands that lepers, those with bodily discharges, and those defiled by the dead be sent outside the camp so that God's dwelling among them is not defiled. It then gives the law of restitution, requiring anyone who wrongs a neighbor to confess, repay the full amount, and add a fifth. The chapter closes with the law of jealousy, in which a suspected adulteress is brought before the Lord and given bitter water that brings a curse if she is guilty but declares her clean if she is innocent.
