Numbers 4:23
The Scripture
(23) From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

The Israelites are instructed to count their numbers and to set apart the tribe of Levi for their service. The chapter also records the division of the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh and the appointment of leaders for each tribe.
