(4) And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

In Numbers chapter 11 the Israelites, led by Moses, complain that they cannot cross the Jordan because of the water. God responds by sending a swarm of flies to punish them for disobedience. The chapter highlights the consequences of disobedience and the need for trust in God’s provision.
