Chapter overview (whole chapter)

Numbers 10 instructs Moses to make two silver trumpets for summoning the assembly and signaling the camps to set out, with different blast patterns calling the leaders, the whole congregation, or signaling war and feast days. On the twentieth day of the second year the cloud lifted from the tabernacle and the Israelites set out from the wilderness of Sinai, marching in their appointed order under the cloud of the Lord. The chapter closes with Moses' words as the ark moved and rested - calling on the Lord to scatter His enemies and to return to the thousands of Israel.
