(3) All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

In this chapter Jesus confronts the religious leaders who have turned the kingdom of God into a business, accusing them of hypocrisy and greed. He warns that anyone who does not repent will face divine judgment and calls for humility and repentance over pride.
