Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In Matthew 12 Jesus is confronted by the Pharisee and the Herodian officials who accuse him of blasphemy for healing the sick and casting out demons. He replies that his miracles are a sign of God’s power, not his own, and that the kingdom of God is near. The chapter also records his teaching about the importance of faith and the danger of false prophets.
