Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Luke 13 opens with Jesus warning that all must repent or perish, illustrated by the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree. He heals a crippled woman on the Sabbath, exposing the hypocrisy of those who object to her healing, and teaches the parables of the mustard seed and the leaven. The chapter closes with Jesus warning that the door to salvation is narrow and lamenting over Jerusalem's rejection of God's messengers.
