(8) Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites are commanded to purify themselves after a ritual sacrifice for a sin that has been committed, and they are instructed to bring a bull and a ram to the altar. The chapter also explains the priest's preparation and the meaning of the blood as a sign of atonement.
