The Scripture
(38) Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the priest is instructed to examine the purity of a man who has been accused of sin and to determine whether he is guilty. The priest conducts a ritual test, and if the man is found clean, he is released; if not, he is put to death. The focus is on the process of judgment and the seriousness of sin.
