Leviticus 14:43
The Scripture
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Leviticus 14 prescribes the ritual for cleansing a person healed of leprosy: the priest goes outside the camp to inspect him, and on his healing he offers two live birds, cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop, with one bird killed over running water and the other released. It describes the offerings of a lamb, oil, and a trespass offering made on the eighth day, and the anointing of the cleansed man's right ear, thumb, and toe. The chapter also gives the law for diagnosing and cleansing a leprous plague in a house, including removing infected stones and offering a final atonement.
