The Scripture
(32) Now therefore up by night, thou and the people that is with thee, and lie in wait in the field:

In this chapter the Israelites are warned against joining the Philistines, who are preparing to attack them. The Philistines plot to kill the Israelite leaders and enslave the people, but the chapter ends with the Israelites’ fear and God’s promise to protect them.
