The Scripture
(21) And the princes said unto them, Let them live; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
The Israelites gather at the Jordan to confront the remaining Amorite tribes that have not submitted, and they defeat them, securing their claim to the land.
