The Scripture
(5) And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites begin to enter the land of the Amorites, who have been living there for many years. They defeat the Amorites in battle and take their land, showing the power of God's judgment. The chapter also records the division of the land among the tribes.
