The Scripture
(34) And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites, led by Joshua, defeat the remaining Canaanite cities and the people of the land. The chapter records how the tribes are assigned the cities they are to possess and how the people are instructed to go to the promised land. It emphasizes the fulfillment of God’s promise to give them the land.
