The Scripture
(6) Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites are told to divide the land among their tribes according to the boundaries set by Moses. The tribes are assigned specific portions of the Promised Land, and the people are instructed to keep the covenant and not take any of the land that belongs to another tribe.
