(9) Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

After Jonah’s disobedience, God sends a great storm that carries him into the belly of a large fish where he spends three days and nights. The fish then releases him onto dry land where the people mock him, and he repents, promising to obey God. This chapter shows God’s mercy and the consequences of disobedience, while also highlighting divine rescue.
