John 7:22
The Scripture
(22) Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

John 7 records Jesus' teaching during the Feast of Tabernacles, where he explains that his miracles are signs and that he will perform a sign on the earth. The chapter also shows the Jews' confusion over his identity, leading Jesus to speak about the Son of Man and his death.
