The Scripture
(8) Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the prophet Joel warns of a great disaster that will come upon Israel, describing a fire from heaven that will destroy the land. He also speaks of a future restoration, when God will send a messenger to gather the people and bring about deliverance. The chapter emphasizes God's judgment and the hope of deliverance.
