The Scripture
(5) Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

In this chapter the prophet Joel warns of a great disaster that will come upon Israel, describing a fire from heaven that will destroy the land. He also speaks of a future restoration, when God will send a messenger to gather the people and bring about deliverance. The chapter emphasizes God's judgment and the hope of deliverance.
