(7) He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

In this chapter God tells Job that his wealth, livestock, fields and servants are a sign of his greatness. Job replies that he has heard of God from the east and the west, showing that God’s knowledge is far greater than his own.
