(21) His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.

Job continues his sorrow after his friends have left, and he declares that he will curse the day of his birth and the day of his life. He reflects that his friends are gone and wonders why God allows such loss. The chapter shows his deep grief and his questioning of divine justice.
