The Scripture
(16) Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

In Jeremiah chapter fifty the prophet declares that the Babylonians will capture the king of Judah and that Jerusalem will be destroyed. He also warns that God will judge the people for their sins and that the remnant will be saved.
