The Scripture
(29) Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.

In Jeremiah 49 God tells the people of Judah that He will not destroy them as He did the surrounding nations, and He will bring them back to their land. He also warns that the nations will be punished for their sins, while the righteous will be vindicated. The chapter emphasizes God’s faithfulness and the ultimate restoration of Jerusalem.
