Jeremiah 43:4
The Scripture
(4) So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In Jeremiah 43 the prophet is sent to the Babylonian camp to stand before the king and to bring the captives there. He is instructed to pray for the people and to be a witness to God’s faithfulness amid suffering. The chapter emphasizes God’s presence and protection for His people.
