The Scripture
(28) And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In Jeremiah chapter 25 God tells Jeremiah to tell the exiles that the siege will end and they will be brought out of captivity. The chapter stresses God’s promise of rescue and the hope of restoration while also noting that the land will remain desolate until the people return.
