The Scripture
(1) The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jeremiah delivers a solemn warning that the nations will bring great disaster upon Judah and that the house of David will be destroyed as the house of Jacob. He says that the people's sins have led to their ruin and that only a remnant will survive. The chapter ends with a call to repentance and a promise that God will restore the land.
