The Scripture
(3) And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

Isaiah named a son Maher-shalal-hash-baz as a sign against Syria and Israel, and warned that the king of Assyria would come like an overflowing river to sweep through Judah. He urged the people not to fear conspiracies but to sanctify the LORD, declaring that God is with us.
