The Scripture
(19) The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

In this chapter the prophet describes the people's longing for God's presence and their desire for a dwelling place in his temple. He reminds them that God will provide a place of rest and a sanctuary where they may worship, contrasting their current emptiness with God's promised sanctuary.
