Isaiah 27:13
The Scripture
(13) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter God declares that He will bring disaster upon the wicked city of Jerusalem, destroying its buildings, its people and its wealth. He also promises to bring peace and restoration to the land, and to gather the exiles to a new home. The message emphasizes God’s judgment on sin and His ultimate triumph over evil.
