The Scripture
(19) And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Isaiah 2 opens with the vision that in the last days the Lord's house will be established above the mountains, drawing all nations to learn His ways and word. It foresees nations turning swords into plowshares and Israel walking in the Lord's light. The chapter closes with a warning for the proud to hide from the Lord's coming judgment, casting away their idols in shame.
